Listening: are you helpful at home?

Textbook: p. 63
GoalListen to a text about helping at home; say “I’m helpful at home”.
New words
helpful · yordam beradigansometimes · ba’zanalways · har doimnever · hech qachon
Explanation

The teacher reads the text twice. The first time listen for who helps; the second time listen for the jobs. Frequency words: always, often, sometimes, never. They usually go before the main verb: “I always help.”

Worked examples
“Helpful at home”. Hi, I’m Madina. At home I always help my mother. I often do the dishes after dinner. My brother sometimes washes the car with my father. My grandmother never lets me cook alone, but I like making salad with her. On Sundays the whole family cleans the house together. I feel proud and happy.
I always help. I sometimes cook. I never forget my homework.
