Explanation

Page 102 has chants for Units 3 and 4 that practice “What club does she have?” and “What time do you …?” We make our own chant: one group asks, the other answers. Keep the beat: one-two-three-four, clap-clap-clap.

Worked examples
What time do you go to school? — I go at eight! I go at eight!
What club does he have? — He has chess! He has chess!
Class activity

“Chant contest”: groups write a four-line chant and perform it with rhythm. The class picks the best beat and the clearest pronunciation.

Practice
1
Answer “What time do you get up?” in chant style.
2
In a chant, who says the question?
3
Make the question for “He has swimming club.”
4
Write 2 lines of your own chant.
