Explanation
In pairs invent a new technology. Fill in a chart: type (machine, digital, computer, robot), purpose (education, health, home, school), what it can do, name. In the presentation speak clearly and briefly: Let me introduce ... . It is a ... for ... . It can ... and it can ... . We named it ... . It is useful because ... . We express ability with can. At the end the class votes: Smartest idea, Most helpful, Funniest, Ready for the shop! Judge other ideas politely and give a reason.
Worked examples
Let me introduce WaterWise, a smart bottle for school. It is a device for health. It can remind you to drink water, count how much you drink and light up when it is time. We named it WaterWise. It is useful because many pupils forget to drink.
Voting: I vote for WaterWise in the Most helpful category because it helps everyone.
