GoalProject: building sentences about inventions (be, use, have, invent) and a presentation “The most useful invention”.
New words
invention · ixtirouseful · foydalihistory · tarixmake life easier · hayotimizni osonlashtirmoq
Explanation
To write about an invention we build sentences from short facts. Examples: Paper – China, traditionally credited to Cai Lun around AD 105; Compass – developed in China, sailors later used a magnetic needle to find direction; Eyeglasses – appeared in Italy in the late 13th century; Telescope – 1608 in the Netherlands, and in 1609 Galileo pointed one at the sky; Vaccine – Edward Jenner used the first smallpox vaccine in 1796. Use passive and active sentences together. Presentation plan: 1) name of the invention; 2) who and when; 3) what it is used for; 4) why it is useful. Finish: I think ... is the most useful invention because ... .
