GoalProject: film awards – designing an award, writing a review and announcing a winner.
New words
award · mukofotwinner · yutuqchicameraman · operatorsoundtrack · ovoz yozuvi (saundtrek)
Explanation
Imagine that your group runs a film club. Invent your own award (a name and a picture). Choose one film and write a review: title, director, year, country, main characters, plot, opinion and a star rating. Categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Cameraman, Best Soundtrack, Best Visual Effects. Announcing phrase: The award for Best Director goes to ... for ... . An Uzbek example: “Mahallada duv-duv gap” (1960, director Shukhrat Abbasov) is a famous comedy. In the presentation show a drawing of your trophy, and ask an adult for help if you use scissors.
Worked examples
Our award is called The Golden Star Club. It looks like a gold star on a small stand. The award for Best Comedy goes to “Mahallada duv-duv gap” (1960, directed by Shukhrat Abbasov) because it is warm, funny and about everyday life.
Review card: Title: Finding Nemo. Year: 2003. Country: the USA. Genre: animation. Opinion: exciting and kind. Stars: 5/5.
