Morality and law
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Write two examples each of a moral rule and a legal rule from your daily life.
Morality: respecting elders, helping. Law: obeying traffic rules, not taking others’ things without permission.
2
When do morality and law complement each other? Write with an example.
For example, “do not steal” is a moral and legal demand; both protect what is good.
3
Make a table: law and morality (who sets it, who protects it, is it written).
Law: set by the state, protected by the state, written; morality: formed by society, protected by public opinion, often unwritten.
4
Explain “a subjective right cannot exist without objective law” with your own example.
For example, the right to inherit (subjective) exists on the basis of the Civil Code norms (objective).
5
If a friend asks to copy your homework and you refuse, is that a matter of morality or law? Write your opinion.
Mainly a matter of morality and school rules; the aim is honest study. It does not reach the level of law, but conflicts with school discipline.
