Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Write five ministries and their fields of work (with the internet or adults’ help).
For example: Ministry of Health – medicine; Ministry of Finance – budget; Ministry of Internal Affairs – keeping order; the ministry in charge of school education – education.
2
Write two or three sentences on what would happen to a country without a government.
Laws would not be carried out, the budget would not be managed, services would stop and order would break down.
3
Ask family members what services the hokimiyat provides and write two.
For example: socio-economic development, land and construction issues, handling residents’ appeals.
4
Find three services available through a Public Services Centre (or the my.gov.uz portal).
For example: certificates, registrations, copies of documents (may vary by location).
5
Show the difference between the government and a hokimiyat in a table (level, task, to whom it reports).
Government – national level, general policy, answerable to the President and Oliy Majlis; hokimiyat – local level, execution on the spot, answerable to higher bodies.
