Explanation

Simple habits help to save time: plan the day in advance, divide tasks into small steps, do one thing at a time and switch off phone notifications. For advice use should, ought to, had better; for necessity have to / need to; for permission can. Each calendar entry should have a date, a time and a short task name. You can use colours for deadlines. After writing the calendar, check it every day and correct changes. In a piece of advice you can use both imperatives (Make a list!) and modals (You should make a list); mix them to keep the text interesting.

Worked examples
You should switch off notifications while you study; otherwise distractions will steal your time. Make a list every evening!
