e-mail · elektron xatto attach · biriktirmoq (fayl)to reply · javob bermoqforum · muhokama
Explanation

If the reported statement is still true now or is a general truth, backshift is not necessary: The teacher said that the Internet connects people (or connected). Past Perfect and would, could, should, might do not change. Time and place words change: today → that day, yesterday → the day before, tomorrow → the next day, last week → the week before, now → then, here → there, this → that. Common e-mail phrases: I am writing to..., Please find attached..., Could you reply by...? Thank you for your help. A crossword practises vocabulary by guessing words from their definitions. Online study needs discipline: make a timetable, switch off notifications and write a short summary after each lesson.

Worked examples
“I will send the report tomorrow,” Nilufar wrote. → Nilufar wrote that she would send the report the next day.
The tutor said that water boils at 100 degrees Celsius (general truth, so no change is necessary).
