Explanation

A leader guides a team toward a goal. A good leader listens, shares tasks fairly, makes decisions and accepts responsibility for mistakes. Teamwork vocabulary: cooperate, communicate, delegate, motivate, resolve a conflict, reach a compromise. To write questions use wh-words and auxiliary verbs: How often does your team meet? Who makes the final decision? Does every member have a task? What do you do when all the members disagree? The moral of a lesson story is often one sentence: Together we are stronger. Write the moral in your own words and support it with an example from life.

Worked examples
Our team leader delegated the research to Zarina and the design to Timur. When they disagreed, they reached a compromise.
Every good team has a clear goal. All the members communicate openly, so conflicts are resolved quickly.
Class activity

Role-play: a conflict appears in a group and two students solve it with a compromise.
