Explanation

Words name people and things (Kim? Nima?), actions (Nima qildi? Nima qiladi? Nima qilyapti?), features (Qanday? Qanaqa?), number, quantity and order (Necha? Nechta? Qancha? Nechanchi?). Names, surnames, place names and pet names start with a capital letter.

Worked examples
Ikkita oq quyon sakrayapti. (Two white rabbits are hopping.) — ikkita (How many?), oq (What kind?), quyon (What?), sakrayapti (What are they doing?)
Uchinchi qatorda Jasur o‘tiradi. (Jasur sits in the third row.)
Class activity

“Question wheel”: a wheel on the board shows the questions. A child spins it and says a word that answers the question it lands on.
