Punctuation at the end of a sentence

Explanation

A sentence that tells something ends with a full stop. A sentence that asks something ends with a question mark. A sentence said with strong feeling, like joy or surprise, ends with an exclamation mark.

Worked examples
Bahor keldi. (Spring came.) / Bahor keldimi? (Did spring come?) / Bahor keldi! (Spring is here!)
Qachon qor yog‘adi? (When will it snow?) — a question
Class activity

The teacher says one sentence in three different tones. Children hold up the matching card: “.”, “?” or “!”.
