What is our native language?

Explanation

The language a child first speaks is their native language. Uzbek is our native language and the state language of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There are many languages in the world — English, Russian, Spanish, Japanese — and every people values its own.

Worked examples
“O‘zbek tili — mening ona tilim.” (Uzbek is my native language.)
Proverb: “Sweet words bring good fortune.” — kind speech makes life better.
Class activity

Children say which languages are spoken in their families. The class says “hello” in several languages: salom, hello, privet.
