Words that show actions

Explanation
Some words show what a person or thing does: yuguryapti (is running), uchdi (flew), o‘qiydi (reads). They answer Nima qildi? (What did ... do?), Nima qiladi? (What does ... do?), Nima qilyapti? (What is ... doing?). We underline action words with two lines.
Worked examples
Baliq suzyapti. (The fish is swimming.) Qush uchyapti. (The bird is flying.)
Malika arqon sakradi. (Malika jumped rope.) — sakradi answers Nima qildi?
Class activity
“Live actions”: the teacher says an action word (jump, sit, clap); children do it and then answer “What did we do?”.
