Объяснение

In “The donkey and the frogs” a donkey fallen in a bog wails, and the frogs remark that they spend their whole lives there; the lesson: show patience and gratitude in small troubles. In “The donkey with the salt” the donkey learns that salt dissolves in water and lightens its load, so it falls on purpose; next time it carries a different load and sinks; the lesson: whoever looks for an easy way by trickery brings trouble on himself. In “The eagle, the jackdaw and the shepherd” the jackdaw imitates an eagle and swoops at a ram but its claws get tangled in the thick wool; the lesson: know your limits. The tradition of Aesop was continued by the Frenchman J. La Fontaine and the Russian I. Krylov; in Uzbek literature Gulxaniy’s “Zarbulmasal” is famous.

Примеры
Example: instead of wailing over a small worry, remembering that others have it harder applies the lesson.
Example: a jackdaw cannot be an eagle – imitating bigger ones without knowing your strength makes you a laughing-stock.
