Объяснение

“Nido” (1964) is Erkin Vohidov’s anti-war doston. At its centre is a son who lost his father in the war, which is close to the poet’s own life: his father came back from the war badly wounded and died in 1945. Years later the son remembers his father and seems to hear a call from the earth, “My son!” – the “nido”. The doston paints scenes of a wartime village: wounded returnees, a black notice arriving instead of an awaited letter, and a mother singing a lullaby and teaching her son to live for peace. The work recalls that war cost a great many lives and ends with the idea that all peoples must strive for peace. The textbook also gives Vohidov’s humorous piece “Tandir haqida ertak” for independent reading.
