Write a four-part plan for an essay on “Will English be the world language?”
For example: 1 Opening: English is used worldwide. 2 For: science, business, travel use English. 3 Against: other languages have many speakers. 4 Conclusion: English will stay important, but we should learn more languages.

Write definitions for: a mobile phone, an e-mail, a post box.
For example: A mobile phone is a phone which you can carry with you. An e-mail is a message that you send by computer. A post box is a box where you put letters.

Write five yes/no questions and answer them with I think so / I hope not / I’m afraid not.
For example: Will we have a test tomorrow? – I hope not. Is it going to rain? – I think so.

Make four noun + noun compounds (telephone, post, mail, computer ...).
For example: telephone number, post office, mail box, computer game.

Find the antonyms: noisy, early, accept, ancient, heavy.
