GoalA company presentation: structure (introduction, ordering, checking understanding, finishing), company facts, current projects with the Present Continuous.
New words
turnover · aylanma mablag‘ (tushum)employees · xodimlarbranch · filialstrength · kuchli tomon
Explanation
To prepare a short presentation about a company we first make notes: Products / services, Main customers, Locations (factories, branches), Size (number of employees, turnover), Main strength, Current projects. The parts of a presentation: introduction (I’d like to tell you about ...), ordering information (First, I’ll talk about ... Now I’ll move on to ...), checking understanding (Are you with me? Is that clear? OK so far?), finishing (Thank you for your attention. Are there any questions?). Current projects use the Present Continuous: At the moment we are building a new plant. We are testing a new product. Permanent facts use the Present Simple: The company employs 300 people. Give numbers clearly: turnover, employees, years.
