Explanation
In Unit III we read works on the theme of winter: Qambar Ota’s poems “Chang‘i uchaman” and “Qishki ta’til”, and Muhabbat Hamidova’s story “Bir hovli qush”. At the end of the unit the textbook also gives Nurullo Oston’s poem “Qorxat”. What unites the works of the unit? The beauty and joy of winter and kindness to nature and birds. In the review we recall authors, genres and concepts such as epithet and refrain.
Worked examples
“Winter conclusion”. Winter is a cold season but rich in joy. Skis in the mountains, sledges on the hill, grain for birds in the yard – all this is the beauty of winter. The poems and stories we read teach us to be kind to nature. In winter it is necessary to help birds and follow safety rules. From this unit I liked the story about birds most, because it shows kindness. When winter ends, spring brings new joys.
Table: Chang‘i uchaman – poem, Qambar Ota; Qishki ta’til – poem, Qambar Ota; Bir hovli qush – story, Muhabbat Hamidova; Qorxat – poem, Nurullo Oston.
