Explanation
In this section we learned about our qualities. Talent grows with work, kindness makes people happy, truthfulness and honesty bring trust, respect is needed by everyone. To be healthy we eat properly, move and sleep. If our friend wins we are happy; if we lose we don’t get upset, we try again.
Worked examples
“The contest”. The class held a poem-reading contest. Dildora took first place, Shahzod second. Shahzod wasn’t upset; he congratulated Dildora: “You read beautifully. Next time I’ll practise more.”
Class activity
“Tree of qualities”: each child sticks a leaf with one quality on a tree branch and gives an example.
