Explanation
School is the first step toward any profession. Places where people study are educational institutions: school, lyceum, college, university. Places where people meet literature and art are cultural institutions: theatre, museum, library, concert hall, cinema, circus. A museum keeps historical objects and pictures. In a theatre actors perform a play.
Worked examples
“Puppet theatre”. Nilufar went with her class to the puppet theatre. Puppets performed a fairy tale on stage. At home Nilufar told it to her mother and said: “Let’s go again!” Next month they went with the whole family.
Class activity
“Which institution?”: the teacher describes it (“books are kept, we are quiet”), children name it (library).
