Explanation

The review game has four question types: “What’s this? / What are these?” — what is it; “How do you spell …?” — spell the word; “What does he/she have?” — who has what; “Is he/she …? Are they …?” — what is it like. Look at a picture and pick the right question.

Worked examples
— What does she have? — She has a big blue bus.
— Are they old? — No, they aren’t. They’re young.
Class activity

“Question cube”: write one question type on each face of a big cube. A child throws it, asks that question about a picture and a friend answers.
