Explanation

In the book’s story the children help Aunt Sue find her lost cat. The value: it is good to help others, and good to ask for help too. Useful phrases: “Can we help?”, “Yes, please.”, “Thank you.”, “You’re welcome.”

Worked examples
“The lost bird”. Bobur sees a child crying on the street. The child says “I can’t find my bird.” Bobur asks “Can I help?” “Yes, please!” says the child. Under a tree they find a small yellow bird. “Thank you!” says the child and smiles. Bobur is happy too.
Class activity
