Explanation

In the book’s story Ben lets his friend use his helicopter and they take turns. Look at the pictures before reading. The value: we share a toy by taking turns, we don’t rush, and we say “please” and “thank you”.

Worked examples
“The new car”. Sardor has a big red car. All the children want it. Madina asks politely: “Can I have a turn, please?” Sardor says “Yes, of course!” and gives her the car. Madina says “Thank you!” A minute later she gives the car to Dilyora. Now everybody plays in turn.
Class activity

“In turns”: there is one toy (a ball or a car). Children line up. Each one asks “Can I have a turn, please?” and then says “Thank you!”
