Explanation
Parallelism means that items in a list or linked parts have the same grammatical form. Wrong: She likes reading, to draw and playing chess. Right: She likes reading, drawing and playing chess. Parts joined by both ... and, either ... or and not only ... but also must also match: The author is not only talented but also hardworking (adjective + adjective). In a review this makes writing smooth: The hero is brave, honest and funny. A book review contains information about the book (title, author, genre), a short summary (do not reveal the ending), an opinion and a recommendation.

Why does parallelism make a review easier to read?
Equal grammatical forms create a clear rhythm and show that the items belong to the same group, so readers follow the ideas more easily.
