Explanation
The number eight is written with the digit 8. Bonds of 8: 7 + 1, 6 + 2, 5 + 3, 4 + 4 and the other way round. An octopus has 8 arms 🐙. Counting in steps of 2 on a ruler: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.
Worked examples
5 + 3: from 5 jump 3 steps right → 6, 7, 8.
