Position of objects

Textbook Part 1, pp. 8–9
GoalDescribe position with “above, below, left, right”.
New words
above / on top · tepadabelow / at the bottom · pastdaon the left · chapdaon the right · o‘ngdain the middle · o‘rtada
Explanation

To say where an object is, we use position words. Which hand do you write with? Most people write with their right hand — that is the right side. A notebook square has 4 sides: left, right, top and bottom.

Worked examples
🐱 🐶 🐰 — the dog is in the middle, the cat is on the left, the rabbit is on the right.
On the flag of Uzbekistan, blue is at the top and green is at the bottom.
Class activity

“Robot” game: the teacher gives commands — “Raise your right hand”, “Put your pencil on the left of your notebook”. The children follow.
