Homogeneous parts of the sentence
Parts in the same grammatical form, usually answering the same question, standing in equal relation to each other and attached together to one part of the sentence are called homogeneous parts. Any sentence part can be homogeneous: subject (“Ali va Vali keldi”), predicate (“U o‘tirib, o‘ylab qoldi”), object (“Kitob va daftar oldim”), attribute (“Sokin, salqin bog‘”), hol (“Tez va aniq javob berdi”). In homogeneous predicates the markers of tense, person-number, mood and affirmation-negation, the copula and the auxiliary verb appear only on the last predicate; if these markers are repeated on every predicate, the sentence counts not as simple but as compound. Plural, possessive and case suffixes may be added to the last homogeneous part and apply to all, or be added to each separately. Homogeneous parts are joined by enumerating intonation or coordinating conjunctions.
Homogenizing chain: groups extend one sentence first with homogeneous subjects, then homogeneous hol.
