Explanation

We write 6, 7, 8 and 9 in the same way. First count. Then write the number. The number 6 has its round part at the bottom. The number 9 has its round part at the top. The number 8 is made of two circles. Match each group to its number.

Class activity

Number cards. Cut 9 small cards. Write the numbers 1 to 9 on them. Draw that many dots on each card. Mix them up and put them in order. Then take away one card and ask a friend which number is missing.
