Term 2 review: telling, making and learning
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Choose a product at home. Tell a grown-up what it is made of and where the materials come from.
For example: a wooden spoon is made of wood, and wood comes from trees.
2
With a grown-up, test three things with a fridge magnet. Sort them into “sticks” and “does not stick”. Keep the magnet away from phones.
Steel or iron things stick; paper, wood and cloth do not.
3
Ask five people at home which fruit they like best. Draw a bar for each fruit and say which has the most.
The bars together must show five answers.
4
Tell your family a three-part story about your favourite day this term.
The story has a beginning, a middle and an end.
5
Draw something you made or learned in art this term. Tell a friend what you like about it.
The child names one thing they like about their work.
