Explanation
A celebration is a special happy day. People in Egypt celebrate in many ways. Muslim families celebrate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Christian families celebrate Christmas on 7 January. In spring, everyone celebrates Sham el-Nessim with picnics and coloured eggs. At celebrations, families wear nice clothes, eat special food, visit relatives and give small gifts. We are kind to everyone and we respect each other’s celebrations.
