Things that keep me clean
Discover Term 2: Axis 3, Chapter 3
GoalName personal care items and say how each one keeps my body clean and healthy.
New words
personal care item · something we use to keep our body cleanhealthy · well and strong, not ill
Explanation
We keep our bodies clean so that we stay healthy. We use soap and water to wash our hands and bodies. We wash our hands before we eat and after we use the toilet. We brush our teeth with a toothbrush and a little toothpaste, in the morning and before bed. We wash our hair with shampoo and dry ourselves with a towel. We comb our hair with a comb. These are personal care items. We do not share our toothbrush or comb.
Worked examples
Marwan washes his hands with soap before lunch.
Malak brushes her teeth in the morning and before bed. She spits out the toothpaste.
When we sneeze we use a tissue and then wash our hands.
