Explanation

Let us count past 10, all the way to 20. The numbers after 10 are 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. We call 13 to 19 the teen numbers. The number track has two rows. The first row goes from 1 to 10. The second row goes from 11 to 20. 20 is two tens. To find a missing number, count along the track and listen for the gap.

After 14 comes 15. Before 20 comes 19. Next to 16 are 15 and 17.
