Say the days of the week in order, starting with Monday. Then say them again starting with Wednesday.
The child says Monday to Sunday in order, and carries on past Sunday back to Monday.

Tell a grown-up one thing you did yesterday, one thing you are doing today and one thing you will do tomorrow.
Any sensible sentences using yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Find a clock at home. Look at it at 3 different times in the day. Say each time. Which hand is the hour hand?
Child reads o’clock or half past times; the hour hand is the short hand.

Draw a clock and show 3 o’clock. Draw another clock and show half past 3.
3 o’clock: long hand on 12, short hand on 3. Half past 3: long hand on 6, short hand half way between 3 and 4.

Tell what you do in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening.
Any sensible answers, one for each part of the day.
