Explanation
Extra-curricular activities are activities outside the timetable: sports clubs, photography, debating, choir, dance, school newspaper, drama, orchestra. Trips also belong here (museum, theatre, factory, castle). The advantages: we learn to work in a team, take responsibility, learn interesting things, use our time well and prepare for life. A report on a club follows a plan: name, goal, how often, activities, teacher, members, roles. Regular events are told in the Present Simple: We meet every Tuesday. The club has twenty members. Suggestions use could: We could organise a trip to the museum.
Worked examples
I belong to the school photography club. We meet on Wednesdays after lessons. Our teacher shows us how to use light. The club is useful because we work in a team and learn practical skills.
To be more active we could organise an exhibition, invite a photographer and publish photos in the school newspaper.

“My club”: each pupil gives a one-minute report following the plan (name, goal, how often, activities, teacher, members, roles).
