Review
This year we explored many secrets of nature. Animals are divided into vertebrates (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals) and invertebrates (for example insects). Plants make food using sunlight, water and air. The Earth, with its tilted axis, goes round the Sun once a year and spins on its axis once a day; this gives seasons and day and night. The water cycle is evaporation, cloud formation and precipitation. Substances are solid, liquid or gas. Energy changes from one kind to another. Light and sound travel. Motion is described by speed. The human body has skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive and circulatory systems. Protecting nature and following hygiene rules is everyone’s duty.
Class quiz: 3 teams. Each team prepares 5 questions from the year’s topics and asks the others. The team with most correct answers wins. Show your favourite topic with a drawing.
