Explanation
Family are the people closest to us: parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. They care for us and support us in hard times. In our circle of communication there are also friends, teachers, neighbours, a doctor and others. We know them. But some people we do not know at all — they are strangers.
Worked examples
“My circle”. Madina drew a circle in her notebook. She wrote her name in the centre. Nearest to it she wrote her parents, then her grandmother, then her teacher and friends. At the very edge she wrote “strangers”.
Class activity
“People I trust”: children draw a circle diagram with themselves in the middle and trusted people around.
