trust · ishonchto support · qo‘llab-quvvatlashto tease, mock · mazax qilishto defend · himoya qilish
Explanation
Friendship is mutual trust that connects people. A friend stays by you in hard times. When we show trust, our friend grows stronger. We don’t mock anyone for a weakness; if others mock a friend, we defend them. There is a saying: “A friend is known when trouble comes.”
Worked examples
“Trust”. Dilshod was slow at running and thought himself weak. His classmate Lola said: “It would be great if you were on our relay team.” Dilshod practised every day. In the contest he brought points to the team.

“Friendship flower”: children draw a flower, write their name in the centre and friends’ names on the petals, and say why they are friends.
