Explanation
A teacher teaches us to read and write, to love nature and to respect elders. Every year on 1 October we celebrate Teachers’ Day. A good pupil is attentive, patient, hardworking and curious. Laziness and rudeness get in the way of learning.
Worked examples
“Congratulations”. On 1 October Malika and her classmates made a card for their teacher. They wrote kind words and gave her a flower. The teacher was happy: “Thank you, my dear children! I am proud of you,” she said.
Class activity
“Greeting card”: each child writes a short warm word to their teacher, and all the words are stuck on one big sheet.
