Explanation
A good person cares about everything: people, animals and nature. Giving water and food to a hungry stray cat, feeding the birds, watering a tree — all this is kindness. In Uzbekistan cruelty to animals is forbidden by law. When children work together they can do even great good.
Worked examples
“Bird canteen”. When winter came, Ulugbek and his two friends hung a small bird feeder on a tree in the yard. Every day they put out seeds. By spring birds were singing in the tree. The children were very happy.
Class activity
“Bird feeder”: groups make a feeder from a milk carton and plan where to hang it.
