Explanation

Describing words answer Qanday? or Qanaqa? (What kind? What is it like?): shirin gilos (sweet cherry), xushbo‘y gul (fragrant flower). From its features we can guess the thing itself. That is how riddles work.

Worked examples
Qanday bino? (What kind of building?) — baland bino (a tall building). Qanaqa yo‘l? (What kind of road?) — uzun yo‘l (a long road).
Yellow, long, curved, sweet. What is it? — banan (a banana)
Class activity

“Magic bag”: a child feels an object in a bag without looking and says its features (smooth, round, hard). The class guesses the object.

Practice
1
Ask the question: shirin gilos — ... gilos?
2
Guess: snow-white, cold, soft, falls in winter.
3
Say describing words that fit a tulki (fox).
