The accusative case («винительный падеж»): «кого? что?»; personal pronouns
Textbook: pp. 107–112
ЦельForm the accusative case («винительный падеж», «кого? что?») correctly in animate and inanimate nouns and personal pronouns.
The accusative (винительный падеж) answers «кого? что?» (whom? what?). For inanimate masculine and neuter nouns it is the same as the nominative: «вижу дом, читаю журнал, вижу окно, небо». Feminine nouns change «-а → -у, -я → -ю»: «читаю книгу, вижу землю, сказку»; nouns in «-ь» do not change: «читаю тетрадь». For animate masculine nouns the accusative equals the genitive: «вижу зайца, волка, медведя, учителя»; animate feminine nouns take «-у/-ю»: «вижу лису, сестру, Лолу». In the plural inanimate nouns are like the nominative («читаю книги»), animate ones like the genitive («вижу волков, зайцев»). Pronouns: «я — меня, ты — тебя, он — его, она — её, мы — нас, вы — вас, они — их».

“Сказка в лесу” (A forest tale). «Маленький ёж идёт по лесу. Он видит дерево, ручей и большой камень. Потом ёж встречает зайца и лису. — Я вижу вас! — говорит ёж. — Я люблю сказки. А вы любите сказки? — Мы читаем книги каждый день, — отвечает заяц. Лиса зовёт ежа в гости и угощает его чаем.» (A little hedgehog walks through the forest. He sees a tree, a stream and a big stone. Then the hedgehog meets a hare and a fox. “I can see you!” says the hedgehog. “I love stories. Do you love stories?” “We read books every day,” answers the hare. The fox invites the hedgehog to visit and treats him to tea.)
