Explanation

Guess: “Are you wearing a blue T-shirt?” Answer: “Yes, I am.” or “No, I’m not. I’m wearing a green shirt.” About others: “Is she wearing a skirt?” — “Yes, she is.” “Is he wearing jeans?” — “No, he isn’t.” In short answers we don’t repeat “wearing”.

Worked examples
— Are you wearing a red dress? — No, I’m not. I’m wearing a green dress.
— Is he wearing a jacket? — Yes, he is.
Class activity

“Who is it?”: the teacher secretly picks a child. The class asks “Is he/she wearing …?” and the teacher only answers “Yes, he/she is.” or “No, he/she isn’t.” Who is it?
