Explanation

Invitation: “Would you like to come to my party?” Accept: “Yes, I’d love to!” Decline: “Sorry, I can’t.” For w the lips are round: wolf, water, wow. “Wh” usually sounds like w: whale, white, wheel. Tongue twister: “A wet wolf waves. A white whale whistles.”

Class activity

“Invitation”: children draw a small invitation and give it to a friend: “Would you like to come to my party?” The friend answers “Yes, I’d love to!”
