Explanation
Remember: there are 6 vowels (a, o, i, e, u, o‘). Vowels make syllables. To avoid mixing up a and o, or o and o‘, say the word slowly and think about its meaning.
Worked examples
“At night it shows its beauty in the sky...” — oy (moon), starting with o.
“Needed to make dough...” — un (flour), starting with u.
Class activity
Riddle contest: groups invent riddles whose answers start with a vowel and ask another group.
