ЦельПовторение раздела 6: third conditional, косвенные вопросы (asked me why I ...), передача мнений (thinks they should ...), hope to.
Third conditional: If + Past Perfect, would have + причастие прошедшего времени. If I hadn’t overslept, I wouldn’t have missed the bus. Когда мы передаём прямой вопрос в косвенной речи: 1) глагол речи стоит в прошедшем времени (asked), 2) порядок слов становится как в утверждении (did и do исчезают), 3) время обычно сдвигается на шаг назад: “Why did you join the club?” → She asked me why I had joined the club (или why I joined). Вопросы с ответом «да/нет» вводятся словами if или whether: “Are you ready?” → She asked if I was ready. Dad thinks the council should improve the lighting. We hope to build a sports ground.
“Where do you live?” → She asked where I lived. “Does your club have many members?” → She asked if my club had many members. Mum thinks the council should keep the streets cleaner.
If the road had been repaired, the bus would have arrived on time. If I hadn’t missed the bus, I would not have been late for school.
(Why did you join the club?), (She asked me why I had joined the club).
1

She asked when I had started the club (or when I started it).
2
Передай с if: “Is your club free?” – He asked ...
He asked if my club was free.
3
If she ___ (not forget) her ticket, she would have seen the film.
hadn’t forgotten
4
