Interjections of feeling
Textbook: p. 123
ЦельKnow interjections of feeling and their use in a sentence.
Interjections of feeling express a person's inner experience in a single word: joy, praise, surprise, regret, displeasure, anger, pain and so on. For example: oho, balli (joy, praise), iya (surprise), attang, eh (regret), uf (tiredness, displeasure), voy (pain, fear). Such an interjection can by itself be a whole exclamatory sentence: Balli! (Bravo!) Or it can come inside a sentence and turn the whole sentence into an exclamatory one: Iya, qor yog‘ibdi-ku! (Oh, it has snowed!) In both cases an exclamation mark is put at the end. Depending on the tone in which it is said, one interjection can show different feelings: “voy” can express both pain and surprise.
Примеры
Balli, juda yaxshi natija! (Bravo, a very good result!) — joy, praise.
Uf, qanday issiq! (Phew, how hot!) — discomfort; Attang, kech qolibman! (Alas, I've been late!) — regret.
Работа в классе
