Count the buttons, coins or beans in a handful (up to 20). Then add 3 more. Say the new total.
Any correct count and the total, e.g. 12 and 3 more makes 15.

Put 10c in coins on the table (any coins: 5c, 2c, 2c, 1c ...). Show 3 different ways of making 10c.
For example 5c + 5c, 5c + 2c + 2c + 1c, 2c + 2c + 2c + 2c + 2c; check the total is 10c each time.

Find 3 solid shapes at home. Name each one, and say if it can roll.
Cube/cuboid (boxes) do not roll; cylinders (tins) and spheres (balls) roll; cones roll in a circle.

Measure the length of a pencil or spoon with a ruler. Then say the time on a clock, o’clock or half past.
A correct length in cm (the end must be at the right number when the start is at 0) and a correct time.
