Say the days of the week in order, forwards and then backwards. Then say what day tomorrow is and what day yesterday was.
Mon–Sun in order; backwards Sun–Mon. Today’s neighbours named correctly.

Look at a calendar. Say the 12 months in order. Find the month we are in, the next month and last month.

Draw a clock face with the short hand and the long hand showing 6 o’clock. Then draw one showing half past 6.
6 o’clock: long hand to 12, short hand to 6. Half past 6: long hand to 6, short hand between 6 and 7.

Ask a grown-up: what month is your birthday? How many months until then (count on from this month)?
