Line up 5 toys. Say the position of each: 1st to 5th. Then say which toy is between the 2nd and the 4th.
The toys are named in order, and the 3rd toy is between the 2nd and 4th.

Draw a big circle. Put things in it that are made of metal (spoon, key). Put other things outside. Count each group.
Spoons, keys and coins go inside. Counts match what was drawn.

Draw a clock showing the time you get up and another showing lunch time. Write o’clock or half past.
Any clocks that match the times written. Check the long hand is at 12 for o’clock and at 6 for half past.

Count out 17 beans. Make a group of 10 and count the rest. Say the number as ten and some ones.
10 and 7 make 17. Try other numbers from 11 to 19 too.

Find a box. How many faces does it have? Then fold a paper square in half in two different ways.
The box has 6 faces. The square can be folded straight or corner to corner and the halves match.
